Newcastle Anglican has an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to join the Community and Allied Health team as our newest Director. You will be a critical team player in the senior leadership team and be responsible for transformational and operational requirements.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of professionals committed to the contemporary practice and service excellence for the people we support. The Director plays a pivotal role in steering growth, compliance, uplift and expansion in our Community Care and Allied Health services.

Role & Responsibilities: â¯
· Develop and implement a commercial and competitive 2-year growth strategy to:
o Maximise profits and deliver high-quality safe services to the people we support.
o Deliver high quality core products and services.
· Maximise our competitive advantage, by understanding customer profiling, product opportunities, risk management, competitive threats and responses.
· Work closely with Finance to develop and establish the best funding models to increase revenue.
· Negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
· Build strong relations with the people we support, consumers and the community.
· Improving the delivery of services.
· Developing a transformational plan to structure operations, whilst improving staff productivity, capability and retention.
· Developing the necessary business cases (aligned to strategy) for Board and/or DCE approval.
· Leading and empowering the team to embed a culture of consumer-centric care, teamwork and community care.
· Identifying operational efficiencies and implementing process enhancements to streamline service delivery, reduce cost and enhance experiences of the people we support.
· Reporting success through sensible service delivery and commercial reports.
· Actively driving activity with a focus on developing and expanding clinical services across our regions.
· Identifying synergies with other parts of the business to reduce expenditure and increase efficiencies.
· Driving accountability and delivery of safe and optimal resource allocation and decision-making for day-to-day resource management
· Embedding new processes and systems
· Meeting all legal, regulatory and accreditation obligations.
About you?
· Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business, Marketing or demonstrated experience in that field.
· Experience in commercial/business reform and proven track record of meeting growth/performance targets.
· Related qualifications or experience in the field of Aged Care, Social Services and/or Health.
· Advanced business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and performance data and develop improvement initiatives.
· Demonstrated comprehensive high-level knowledge of the Health, Aged Care and/or Social Sectors including funding and policy protocols, accreditation, and industrial legislation.
· Comprehensive experience in coordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
